According to a number of indicators of scientific activity, the department occupies a leading position in VNTU, and according to some, it is also among the graduation departments of the IT profile of other institutions of higher education both in Ukraine and abroad. of the department from the moment of their creation:<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>1. <a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/naukovo-doslidni-laboratorii\/shik\/\">Artificial intelligence and cognitive science (AI)<\/a><\/strong> (research supervisor - O.B. Mokin, co-supervisor - V.B. Mokin);<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>2. <a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/naukovo-doslidni-laboratorii\/edem\/\">Environmental Research and Environmental Monitoring (EDEM)<\/a><\/strong> (supervisor - V.B. Mokin);<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>3. <a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/naukovo-doslidni-laboratorii\/asuet\/\">Automated control systems in energy and transport (ASUET)<\/a><\/strong> (supervisor - B. I. Mokin);<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>4. <a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/naukovo-doslidni-laboratorii\/pvsh\/\">On the problems of the higher school (PVSH)<\/a><\/strong> (research supervisor - B. I. Mokin, co-supervisor - V. B. Mokin).<\/p><p>Under the leadership of teachers of the department from among the researchers of these 4 research laboratories already <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/zakhyshcheni-dysertatsii\/\">prepared<\/a> <\/strong>about 50 doctors of science, doctors of philosophy (PhD) and candidates of science, mainly in the field of information technologies in engineering, biology, ecology, economics, pedagogical activities, etc.<\/p><p>About 100 fundamental and applied researches were performed in these 4 NDL <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/proiekty\/\">research works and projects<\/a><\/strong> for funding as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/proiekty\/proiekty-mon\/\">state funds<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/proiekty\/mizhnarodni\/\">international<\/a><\/strong>, and enterprises and scientific institutions.<\/p><p>In particular, NDL EDEM is one of the leaders in Ukraine in terms of the number of completed multi-faceted applications <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/proiekty\/hospdohovirni\/\">farm contracting GDR<\/a><\/strong> in the field of creation of geo-information cadastres, information analytical systems, web portals, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/atlasy-i-karty\/\">maps and atlases<\/a><\/strong>, the results of which are actually implemented in all regions of Ukraine. Many tenders have been won. Received about 50 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/intelektualna-vlasnist\/\">certificates of copyright registration for computer programs<\/a><\/strong>. A number of developments related to the implementation of European directives and methods were implemented and found their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/vprovadzhennia-ndr-u-zakonodavstvi\/\">reflected in the legislation of Ukraine<\/a><\/strong>. The hydrographic and water management zoning of Ukraine, developed at the NDL EDEM on the order of the State Water Resources Agency of Ukraine, was carried out in accordance with Ukraine&#039;s international obligations within the framework of the Association Agreement with the EU.<\/p><p>Developments of NDL ASUET won gold medals at international exhibitions of the World Association of Inventors (IFIA) with the center in Geneva. Many patents were obtained for these developments.<\/p><p>Scientists of NDL SHIK and NDL EDEM during 2022-2023 carry out the project on a subcontract with funding <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eu-ua.org\/horizon-2020\/\">EU &quot;Horizon&quot; programs<\/a><\/strong> on neural network optimization of energy consumption of grain elevators.<\/p><p>A number of these NDL functions <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/abituriientu\/studentski-naukovi-hurtky\/\">student scientific circles<\/a><\/strong>. The best works of students have repeatedly been the prize-winners of the final <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/konkursy-i-khakatony\/vseukrainski-konkursy-stud-prats\/\">All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p><p>A number of studies are conducted by topic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/nauka\/konkursy-i-khakatony\/mizhn-konkurs-kaggle\/\">international competitions based on the Kaggle platform<\/a><\/strong>. According to the number of grandmasters with the title &quot;Kaggle Notebooks Grandmaster&quot; among teachers and graduate students, the SAIT department ranks first among all higher education institutions in the world (the department has 2 grandmasters from the upper levels of the rating). This is a rating of developers of public programs in the field of Data Science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, many of which are the calculated part of professional articles (leading Scopus publications require the publication of calculation results and the reference to them in the article).<\/p><p>In general, scientists of the SAIT department have published more than 1,000 publications, including more than 200 professional articles, including Scopus\/WoS publications in the first quartile and around 100 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/kafedra\/publikatsii\/\">books<\/a><\/strong>: more than 45 monographs and about 55 textbooks and training aids.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eeab57e elementor-widget elementor-widget-custom-title-addons\" data-id=\"eeab57e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"custom-title-addons.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"tpc-double_heading\"><h3 class=\"dbl__title-wrapper\">                                    <span class=\"dbl__title dbl-title_2\">Training of scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral studies\u00a0<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-73f709d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"73f709d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The department works as a graduate student from two accredited educational programs:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/osvitni-prohramy\/124-systemnyi-analiz-doktor-filosofii\/\">&quot;System analysis&quot; specialty 124 &quot;System analysis&quot;<\/a><\/strong>;<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sait.vntu.edu.ua\/en\/osvitni-prohramy\/126-op-informatsiini-systemy-ta-tekhnolohii-doktor-filosofii\/\">&quot;Information systems and technologies&quot; specialty 126 &quot;Information systems and technologies&quot;<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>9 graduate students are being trained. 5 teachers have the right to supervise graduate students.<\/p><p>IS <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ida.vntu.edu.ua\/uk\/doctorship-ul\/\">doctoral studies<\/a> <\/strong>from specialty 126 &quot;Information systems and technologies&quot;.
