Department of System Analysis and Information Technologies (SAIT) faculty of intellectual information technologies and automation (FIITA) VNTU trains highly qualified specialists in IT specialties and invites applications for admission to the specialties F4 Systems Analysis and Data Science and F6 Information Systems and Technologies.bachelor", "master" and "doctor of philosophy".

Our advantages
All educational programs of bachelor's, master's and postgraduate studies of specialties 124 and 126 of the department have passed primary accreditation. Most of them have been transformed into specialties F4 and F6. The head of the department is one of the main developers of higher education standards in specialties 124 and F4 Systems Analysis and Data Science at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
There is a scientific school in which about 10 doctors of science and 50 candidates of science and doctors of philosophy have been trained. The teachers and students of the department have completed more than 60 research works commissioned by organizations, the results of which have been implemented in all regions of Ukraine and abroad.
Teachers and students conduct joint research with scientists from most European countries, the USA, etc. More than a dozen international projects and grants have been completed. The department ranks among the first among higher education institutions in the world in terms of the number of Kaggle Notebooks Grandmasters among teachers, applicants, and graduates.

Full-time employees of the department are the honored worker of science and technology of Ukraine, an academician National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee on Development of Higher Education Standards in Specialty F4 (formerly 124) of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 23% Doctors of Sciences, 62 % teachers have academic titles (23 % Professors and 39% Associate Professors), 100% teachers studied in postgraduate studies, 92% have scientific degrees, including 3 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in specialties 124 and 126, 2 teachers are deputy deans faculty of intellectual information technologies and automation.
The first head of the department was Boris Mokin - supervisor scientific school, honored worker of science and technology of Ukraine, academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 1st convocation, who voted for the Independence of Ukraine, was the chairman of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine "Informatics and Cybernetics", ex-rector Vinnytsia National Technical University (1989-2010), Doctor of Technical Sciences in specialties 124 and 126, professor, guarantor educational and scientific program “Systems Analysis” at the level of “Doctor of Philosophy” in the specialty F4 Systems Analysis and Data Science (124 Systems Analysis), trained several doctors of science and about 30 candidates of science and 1 doctor of philosophy in specialty 124, author of more than 400 scientific and educational and methodological works, scientific supervisor NDL PVSH and NDL ASUET.

Ph.D., Assoc.Currently, the head of the department is Vitaly Mokin - supervisor NDL EDEM department since 2000 and scientific co-head NDL SHIK and NDL PVSH, was an expert in IT issues of projects funded by the EU, UN, OSCE, the Global Environmental Fund (USA), the Eastern Europe Fund, TASIC, Horyzon 2020 and funded by the funds of the countries of Sweden (SIDA), Austria, the Netherlands, was the scientific supervisor of more than 50 research projects implemented in all regions of Ukraine and abroad, was a freelance adviser to the Minister of Environmental Protection of Ukraine (2009-2010), was a freelance adviser to the head of the State Water Resources Agency of Ukraine (2009-2019), was the head of the basin Council of the Southern Bug, is a member of the National Research Council of the State Water Agency, is a member Scientific and Methodological Commission for Information Technologies, Automation and Telecommunications of the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and in it - Deputy Chairman of the subcommittee on specialty F4 Systems Analysis and Data Science (was Deputy Chairman from 124 during 2018-2024), was a member of the Working Group on Mathematical Modeling of Problems Related to the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus Epidemic in Ukraine (since 2020), which regularly prepared analytics for the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine until February 2024, Kaggle Grandmaster (the first in Ukraine to receive this title in the Python laptop developers nomination), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, prepared 11 Doctors of Philosophy and Candidates of Technical Sciences in the specialties "Systems Analysis", "Information Systems and Technologies" and "Information Technologies", OPP guarantor “Information Technologies for Data and Image Analysis” at the “Master” level, specialty F6 Information systems and technologies (126 Information systems and technologies), author of more than 500 scientific and educational and methodological works.
