The SAIT Department trains highly qualified specialists from bachelors to PhDs and doctors of science in IT specialties F4 Systems Analysis and Data Science (124 Systems Analysis) and F6 Information Systems and Technologies (126 Information Systems and Technologies) at the levels of “bachelor”, “master” and “doctor of philosophy”. All educational programs of specialties 124 and 126 have passed primary accreditation.
Teachers content is updated every year discipline, since information technologies are developing very dynamically. Some professional disciplines are the same or have similar names and content, although they may have different depths of mastery of knowledge and skills, both for specialties F4 (124) and F6 (126), and some are significantly different.
Graduates Departments hold various positions in IT companies, including: Team Leader, System Architect, Data Scientist, Front-End Developer, Full-Stack developer, Back-End Developer, iOS Developer, Python Developer, Software Engineer, WEB Master, Designer, QA Engineer etc.
Education is student-centered and individualized - students choose their own educational path, firstly, due to the fact that some disciplines are freely chosen, and secondly, it is possible to study from the first year project training, that is, to conduct one project individually or with friends, performing tasks on it from different disciplines, and thirdly, you can engage in scientific research under the guidance of leading teachers and scientists of the department from one of the many scientific student circles.
Scientific research is conducted at the department. The teachers of the department manage research laboratories, whose researchers have defended more than 50 dissertations for obtaining the degree of PhD, Candidate and Doctor of Sciences, including in system analysis and information technologies. Active cooperation with leading international organizations and scientists is underway. Scientists of the department spoke at conferences, wrote joint publications or engaged in joint research with scientists from almost all leading countries of the world, including from almost all EU countries, USA, Canada, etc.
More than 60 have been completed research works and international projects by order of international and domestic state, private and public organizations.
