Defense of bachelor's theses by students of specialty 124 (OP "Systems Analysis") of the SAIT department
In June 2021, the defense of bachelor's theses from the accredited educational program "Systems Analysis" of specialty 124 "Systems Analysis" was held at the SAIT FKSA VNTU Department on Google Meet. This is the 3rd graduation from specialty 124 (let me remind you that it was VNTU that had the first bachelor's graduation from 124 in Ukraine - back in 2019). The works were devoted to the application of systems analysis methods and the development of analytical information systems, systems and programs using artificial intelligence technologies, modern databases, web technologies and GIS technologies. Most of the works were research and applied and were devoted to important problems related to the development and application of information technologies to solve applied problems of systems analysis: in the banking sector, in the trade sector, in the stock market sector, in the field of forecasting water quality in the river and atmospheric air quality in the city, and forecasting the cost of a car. All works used real data.
One work was carried out within the framework of research, which was carried out by the SAIT department based on the results of the tender won by the teachers for the development of the State Monitoring Program in the field of atmospheric air protection of the Vinnytsia agglomeration for 2021-2025. Three works were carried out at the request of the Southern Bug Basin Council.
At the defense, the students demonstrated that they have a sufficiently high theoretical background and practical skills in using information technologies in various industries, possess methods of mathematical analysis, optimization and decision-making, as well as data processing tools, modeling, and methods of scientific and engineering research.
The supervisors of the bachelor's theses were full-time employees of the SAIT department. The head of the examination committee was Sergey Oleynik, director of LLC "Analytica", known worldwide for its powerful analytical information systems, primarily using geoinformation technologies.
All works have successfully passed peer review and plagiarism check. The best graduates are now applying for admission to the master's program at the SAIT department.
