A meeting of the SAIT department to discuss the date of the Ideaton, the cycle of open lectures and updating the website

The meeting of the SAIT department, where the date of the Ideaton in the spring of 2023, the dates and topics of the series of open lectures by leading specialists of IT companies for the students of the SAIT department, and the content of the website update (version 3.0) will be discussed.

At the end of April or May, the SAIT Department will hold an Ideathon "System Analysis of IT Solutions" for first-year bachelor's students of specialties 124 and 126 of the SAIT Department. In November-December 2022, due to the difficult situation with the light, Ideaton was temporarily canceled and postponed to spring. The date of its holding must be approved at the meeting of the department.

In the spring, a series of open lectures by leading specialists of IT companies from different countries is traditionally held at the SAIT department in Meet. In 2022, it was not held due to a difficult situation, and reports and announcements for 2021 are available in the Telegram channel of the SAIT department:

• "Information technologies. Artificial intelligence. NLP. Data Science. System analysis", 04/20/2021 (leading specialist in the field of AI, NLP, Data Science and system analysis, Team Leader of the company "Common Cause" (Ukraine), PhD);
• "What are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science?", 04/21/2021 (leading AI expert, Head of AI at Onseo/AUG Global (Ukraine), CTO at AIBODY (Great Britain), Kaggle Competitions Master, professor, Doctor of Science in IT);
• "Data Engineering", 04/23/2021 (leading specialist in the field of artificial intelligence and Big Data, director of the Nestlogic IT company, Tel Aviv, Israel). 

At the meeting of the department, a discussion will be held and it will be determined who and on what topic we will invite to give a lecture. Then we will agree with the lecturers on a date and time convenient for them and invite students and postgraduate students of the department of all courses who will be interested in such a topic. 

There will also be a discussion of the new version of the site update, the date of which is tentatively scheduled for May 1, 2023. Planned:

• add various types of NDL ASUET and NDL PVSH projects to the "Projects" section (there are only NDL EDEM projects there so far);
• create a new division with a register of all projects in tabular form for convenient searching by them;
• create a new division with a register of all events in tabular form for convenient search by them;
• split the "Publications" page with books into two separate ones with scientific (monographs) and educational-methodical and methodical (textbooks and manuals) publications;
• adding and updating photo and video materials on all pages;
• adding events, including in retrospect (from various web resources of the department, faculty and university, which are related to the SAIT department);
• creation of new pages presenting the results of research by areas (medicine, energy, ecology, transport, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, etc.), which will be valuable both for students and graduate students choosing a research direction, and for organizations that want to order certain works or offer to join a consortium to form a request for an international project, etc.;
• improvement of the text, design and design of individual pages;
• formation of the English-language version of all website pages.
