IV Ideathon “System Analysis of IT Solutions”

Today, December 17, 2020, the IV Ideathon “System Analysis of IT Solutions” was held at the SAIT department. The event was held for 1st-year students of specialties 124 and 126 (“Applied IT”). The head of the jury is the head of the SAIT department Mokin V. B.: the jury members are other leading data scientists of the SAIT department and not only from VNTU”, The topics chosen by the students turned out to be quite interesting. The students' works also found a place for the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, GIS and GPS technologies, the use of Python, React, JavaScript, etc. to solve important problems in various areas - an information system for recognizing people without masks, Vinnytsia for tourists, a system for monitoring the optimal price of products in common supermarket chains, a smart plate for animals, an electronic assistant, a personal curator, smart glasses, etc.
All works were presented at the idea level with the most detailed study of the structure and architecture of the systems.
The jury members noted the teams' good reports and ideas.
