Exhibition of teachers' achievements to celebrate the 60th anniversary of VNTU

An exhibition of teachers' achievements to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our university has begun at VNTU. Today, it was visited by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In the photo - Associate Professor Yaroslav Kulyk talks about some of the achievements of scientists at the Faculty of Computer Systems and Automation (FCSA), including the following:
1. A complex of information and analytical systems implemented in all regions of Ukraine and abroad, funded by projects of the UN, OSCE, EU countries and Ukraine, created and implemented under the leadership of Mokin V.B. during 2003-2020 by employees of the EDEM Research Laboratory of the Department of Systems Analysis and Information Technologies of the Faculty of Economics of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (see their description in more detail: http://mmss.vntu.edu.ua/index.php/ua/proekti-kafedri)
2. The map of hydrographic and water management zoning of Ukraine, the geoinformation support of which was developed at the SAIT Department by Professor Mokin V.B. and Associate Professor Kryzhanovsky E.M. – was taken into account when updating the Water Code of Ukraine by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and was taken as a basis when implementing this zoning at the request of the Association Agreement with the EU; employees of the SAIT Department also participated in the final, already legally approved, version of the zoning.
3. Ecological Atlas of the Southern Bug Basin (prepared and published with funds from the Government of the Netherlands) and the Ecological Atlas of the Dniester Basin, prepared and published with funds from UN, OSCE and EU projects by a joint Moldovan-Ukrainian working group with the participation of EU experts - all the main geoinformation materials of these atlases were prepared by Prof. Mokin V.B. and Assoc. Prof. Kryzhanovsky E.M. from the SAIT Department.
4. Intelligent vehicle registration system, developed at the AIIT department by Associate Professor Masliy R.V. and postgraduate student Kyrylenko O. and implemented in the Situation Center of the Vinnytsia City Council.
5. A prototype of an intelligent car control system, created by associate professors of the AIIT department Papinov V.M. and Kulik Y.A. (in the photo).
