Class of the scientific group of Prof. Mokina V.B. for pupils and students "Applied information technologies, system analysis and artificial intelligence"

On November 19-20, 2022, the first meetings in 3 directions of the scientific group of Prof. Mokina V.B. for pupils and students "Applied information technologies, system analysis and artificial intelligence" (according to direction 1 "NLP", the meeting was held on November 12):• Direction 2. "Image recognition: analysis of the trajectory of a person's gaze on graphic elements on a computer screen"; • Direction 3. "Prediction of time series" (the exchange rate of cryptocurrencies, the number of patients with covid, indicators of atmospheric air quality, water quality); • Direction 4. "Computer games: development of strategies for computer games based on the Gym library in Python (Reinforcement Learning)." Prof. Mokin V.B. delivered a lecture where he characterized each direction: the relevance of the issues, typical applied problems, the main approaches to their solution, links to his laptops and lectures on the YouTube channel of prof. Mokina V.B. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_0hHRSVI_g…), voiced the problems that are proposed to be solved and where to start and gave advice on how best to do it. The meetings were attended by pupils and students of our department and other higher education institutions, there were even docents of other faculties of VNTU and universities from other cities of Ukraine. The group, in fact, turned into a scientific seminar. All meeting materials, including presentations uploaded to private groups by direction, links to which are in the main public group of the circle (https://t.me/ai_ml_vntu). Anyone can join the group at any time (or disconnect at any time), follow the link to the direction they are interested in, learn everything there and join the work. Participation is free. All teaching and communication is in Ukrainian. The entire history of Telegram groups is visible to new members. More than 150 people have already signed up for the group, including h schoolchildren, students, scientists, etc., but many have not yet decided on directions.
