Department of SAIT together with by the company "INNOVINNPROM" is engaged in the creation and improvement of IIoT/AIIoT systems (EU Horizon projects).
The project has already been completed: "Asset Performance Management System for grain processing industry SAKURA-APM PaaS SAKURA-IIoT based“ : “Development of Information Technologies for Grain Elevator Optimization Using Neural Network Models and Reinforcement Learning Methods” (2022-2023). This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program within the framework of the BOWI Project funded under grant agreement No. 873155.
As part of the Czech-Ukrainian project "Clean air for Ukraine» an IoT network station is installed on FIITA EcoCity for monitoring the state of atmospheric air.
For initiatives NDL EDEM of the SAIT department, our university signed a license agreement with the EcoCity network and received authorized access to the "Air Quality Researcher's Office" portal, which gives us access to long-term data from more than 30 stations in the city of Vinnytsia and Vinnytsia region. Periodically, the department's scientists upload part of this data to the Kaggle public dataset "Air Quality Monitoring from EcoCity» (upon agreement with the data owners). Teachers, graduate students and students of the SAIT department conduct scientific research on the analysis and forecasting of these data.
- Analysis of the capabilities of Python libraries to detect anomalous data in the task of forecasting the state of atmospheric air (2023)
- Study of the influence of the parameters of the Prophet model on the accuracy of forecasting the quality of atmospheric air (2023)
- The method of identification of parameters of harmonics and anomalies of a periodic time series based on adaptive decomposition VPI Bulletin, 2023, No. 6, pp. 46-56
- Information technology for forecasting data on atmospheric air quality in the city of Vinnytsia based on public monitoring data (MN-2022)
- Designing a web system for analysis and forecasting of air quality data in the city of Vinnytsia based on public monitoring data (MN-2022)
- Information technology of interpolation of data on atmospheric air quality in the city of Vinnytsia based on public monitoring data (MN-2022)
NDL ASUET of the SAIT department uses the French IoT station Sigfox (sponsor - Ukrainian representative office of Sigfox LLC "UTILIX").
0G Global Network based on Sigfox 0G technology is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) designed for Massive IoT. It is designed for reliable connection of devices at a low cost in the most energy-efficient way. The Sigfox station is installed at the department of SAIT and covers the territory of VNTU. There are other Sigfox stations in Ukraine.
Teachers, graduate students and students of the department are investigating the various possibilities of this station, the choice of the optimal architecture of various types of IoT systems, technologies for transmitting and processing data from IoT systems using cloud and web technologies. The areas of creation of AIoT, that is, IoT systems, processing and management of which are carried out by artificial intelligence, are studied.
- Modern IoT implementations of intelligent information and measurement systems (MN-2023)
- Advantages of SIGFOX Internet of Things technologies for creating a local atmospheric air monitoring system (2023)
- Analysis of approaches to choosing the architecture of information systems based on the Internet of Things under real conditions (2022)
Teachers, graduate students and students of the SAIT department develop, research and patent their own IoT/AIoT devices based on Sigfox:
– Systems for monitoring water and meteorological parameters
– Data exchange systems between IoT systems, the cloud and dashboards
– Production process management systems, etc.
- Building an information system for monitoring physical indicators based on Internet of Things technology, Information technologies and computer engineering, issue 57, issue 2, p. 99–108, September 2023.
- IoT system for measuring water parameters based on Sigfox (2024)
Also, other tasks are solved within the limits student scientific circle associate professors of the department of SAIT Dmytro Protsenko and Georgy Goryachev "Technologies of creation of IoT systems and robotics".
