System analysis and forecasting of grain temperature in a grain elevator silo based on IoT system data using artificial intelligence technologies (2025)

A system analysis of the grain temperature control system in the grain elevator silo as a complex system was carried out, optimal intelligent models (LSTM, GRU, CNN) were selected to predict the increase in grain temperature in the grain elevator silo according to IoT system data between the moments of significant changes in conditions in the silo, these intelligent models were built using artificial intelligence technologies. Intelligent models were developed and tested on real data to predict grain temperature at different points of a given grain elevator silo according to IoT system data. A comparative analysis of the accuracy of the forecast using the developed intelligent technology and using the traditional intuitive model based on linear interpolation was carried out.

Completed 2 of 3 stages. As of March 2023, a report for intermediate stages 1 and 2 was developed and accepted by the customer. In particular, a report with results was adopted for the 2nd stage "Development of the architecture of neural network modules of the system and planning and conducting experiments with their help to improve the SAKURA-APM system" execution of works and slide presentations on them: an analysis of analogues was carried out to optimize the technological process using intelligent information technologies; the architecture of neural networks of typical node devices of grain elevator routes was designed and the models of the technological process of grain elevator operation were identified; planning of experiments necessary for training neural network models of nodal devices and the system as a whole was carried out, and panels were prepared for visualization of the results of modeling based on these experiments.

Analysis and systematization of mineral monitoring and accounting data in the Vinnytsia region was carried out. The structure of the database of the system was developed, a convenient and understandable interface was created, the analytical capabilities of the database were provided and characterized. A system of conventional designations of places of occurrence or extraction of various types of minerals has been created. Surveyed places of occurrence or extraction of minerals are marked. A shell program has been developed that performs the functions of a geo-informational analytical system and allows you to combine such two components of GIS as an electronic vector map and a database. The system of monitoring and recording the state of minerals has been integrated into a single GIS for monitoring the state of the environment of the Vinnytsia region.
